1.

Base Plate:

(a)    250 x 250 x 8mm thick four times holed for 12mm diameter bolts.

(b)   Weld two brackets 100 x 75 x 10mm once holed for 12mm diameter bolt welded to base plate at a spacing of ± 80mm to house the 75 x 75 x 2mm R.H.S. (Rectangular Hollow Section) posts.

 

2.

Posts:

(a)    75 x 75 x 2mm x 2000mm high end capped at the bottom and holed for one 12mm diameter bolt. Two (2 No.)

(b)   10mm thick M.S. (Mild Steel) plates 240 tapering to 80mm x 310mm high twice holed for 12mm diameter bolts as per sketch welded to top section of the posts to house the rafter. Eight posts shall house 8 No. lacing hooks welded/fixed per side on two sides, 2No. “U” brackets each on top and bottom holed for to receive 6mm diameter steel cable and M10 turnbuckle bracing. Four No. (4) “U” brackets (2 No. per side) welded on to gusset plates to hook 50 x 50 x 1.6mm beams and “Hillaldam” rail or equivalent.

3.

Rafters:

(a)  75 x 75 x 2mm R.H.S. three times holed for 12mm diameter bolts on one half and 460mm 80 x 10mm thick M.S.  plate bent to profile, twice holed for 12mm diameter bolt and one side welded at apex to receive other half of the rafter. The other half of the rafter (75 x 75 x 2mm) 5 times holed for 12mm diameter bolt.

4.

Collar:

75 x 75 x 2mm R.H.S. collar cut to profile and welded at both ends with 80 x 240 x 10mm M.S. plates twice holed for 12mm diameter bolts.

5.

Beams:

(a)    50 x 50 x 1.6mm R.H.S. ridge beam hooked to rafter at apex.

(b)   50 x 50 x 1.6mm R.H.S. side beam hooked to posts.

( c)“Hillaldam” or equivalent 2 No. rails hooked to posts to hang side curtains on pulleys, minimum of 3 No. pulley per meter.

6.

Bracing:

Bracing to end bays; roof and sided with 6mm diameter steel cables fixed    at ends with M10 turnbuckle and eye for tensioning and hooked to brackets In rafters and posts respectively.

7.

Brackets:

(a)    60 x 8mm “U” brackets bent to profile and welded to posts and rafters to hook beams.

(b)   60 x 8mm “U” brackets twice holed for and welded to posts and rafters to receive 6mm diameter steel bracing cables.

8.

Roof Covering:

(a)    600g P.V.C. top with 4 Ton webbing in pockets at ± 3000mm centers (over the rafters) for reinforcing to prevent damage and withstand strong winds, with TG 7 eyelets and anchored to posts on cleats with U.S.A. buckle and 12mm diameter ski rope.

(b)   Colour: Shell white with the letters M. O. E. T., indelibly written on top as on drawing (colour: chocolate crème)

9.

Side Curtains:

550g P.V.C. side curtains, permanent close on one side lengthwise and the other side hung on “Hillaldam 200” or equivalent rails with pulleys between posts with G4 eyelets on top and sides, sides fixed lacing hooks welded to posts with ski-rope.

10.

Doors:

1000 x 2000mm one on each gable side with heavy duty industrial zip 47mm wide to open.

11.

Windows:

1200 x 1000mm with P.V.C. mesh (“Neucoat” product or equivalent) one in each bay on either side with P.V.C. flaps and Velcro to open the windows (8 No.).

12.

Bolts:

All bolts shall be galvanized.

13.

Steel Frame:

All steel components including all accessories to be galvanized.
