UNDP hands over a 4x4 vehicle and IT equipment
to Ministry of Finance and Development Planning
UNDP Lesotho UNDP
will be handing over a 4x4 vehicle, 10 computers and a heavy duty
printer to the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning. This is
part of UNDP's broad support to the Ministry to Monitor and Evaluate
the development process in Lesotho, under its poverty reduction
project - "Strengthening National Capacities to Monitor Poverty
Reduction Interventions and Progress towards the Achievement of the
MDGs".
As part of its aim to
strengthen the Ministry's capacity for monitoring and evaluating
development progress in the country, this equipment is critical in
tracking implementation of development projects and to assess their
impact on poverty reduction in Lesotho.
The Principal
Secretary for the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning, Dr.
Moeketsi Majoro will receive the vehicle on behalf of the
Government, while the Deputy Resident Representative will officially
hand over the vehicle and the Information Technology equipment. |
